A new chapter begins at Les Rives de Courtès
Since January 2026, a new adventure has been unfolding at Camping Les Rives de Courtès in Estang, in the Gers region. We took over the campsite with one firm belief: to preserve everything that has always made it special while bringing it a fresh new lease of life. Les Rives de Courtès is more than simply a holiday destination. It is a place where people come together, slow down and create wonderful memories with family and friends.
From the moment we arrived, we wanted to restore the warm, family-friendly atmosphere for which the campsite has long been known. Our ambition is simple: to make everyone feel at home in a welcoming, friendly and caring environment. We believe in holidays where people take the time to talk, share a coffee, exchange a smile or recommend their favourite places to explore in the Gers. For us, hospitality is about far more than handing over the keys to your accommodation: it lies at the very heart of everything we do.

Season after season, we are committed to developing the campsite while respecting its identity. New accommodation, including our safari tents, is being introduced to offer an increasingly comfortable experience while keeping guests close to nature. Other projects will gradually follow, always with the same goal: to improve your stay without losing the unique spirit of Les Rives de Courtès.
Our three-star campsite enjoys an exceptional setting beside its lake, surrounded by nature, peace and a genuine sense of togetherness. Whether you are travelling as a family or a couple, touring by motorhome, visiting for fishing or enjoying a spa break, we want you to find a place here where you can truly relax and recharge.
Every guest receives the same care and attention, because we believe that the smallest details are often what make the best holidays. A family story and
a return to our roots
The story of Camping Les Rives de Courtès began in 1983, when Mr and Mrs Fois created this family campsite beside the lake in Estang. From the very beginning, it stood out for its friendly atmosphere, unspoilt natural surroundings and spirit of sharing, with fishing, nature and family time shaping daily life at the campsite.
Several decades later, a new chapter began.
Our family has always had close ties to the village of Estang. From 1998 to 2000, our parents ran the Café des Sports before continuing their journey at the Hôtel-Restaurant Henri IV in Eauze, which they owned and managed for twenty years.
At the beginning of 2026, fate brought us back to where it all began. During an auction held at the campsite, my brother Maxime discovered a place filled with potential. Captivated by its exceptional setting, its lake, magnificent trees and peaceful atmosphere — and above all by the idea of breathing new life into a campsite in our home village — he shared his enthusiasm with the whole family.
We immediately fell in love with the place. In February 2026, we became the new owners of Camping Les Rives de Courtès with one simple ambition: to preserve its family spirit while giving it a fresh new lease of life.
Since arriving, we have undertaken extensive renovation work to improve the comfort of the campsite while respecting its identity. The project is still continuing today, with further improvements and the development of new activities to bring the campsite to life throughout the season.
Our aim is to make Camping Les Rives de Courtès a place where everyone immediately feels at home. A place where you can take the time to share a meal at the guinguette, meet other holidaymakers, enjoy the lake and the surrounding countryside, and create lasting memories with family and friends.
More than simply a campsite, we want Les Rives de Courtès to remain a place of friendship, warmth and simplicity, true to the spirit that has shaped it for more than forty years.
